What is Dungeons & Dragons?
Dungeons and Dragons, or "D&D", is a collaborative storytelling game, where a group of players take on the role of adventurers in a fantasy setting. As adventurers, players work together to navigate their way through a world full of excitement and danger.
Situations in the game are presented by the narrator, or "Dungeon Master." Then, players decide how they will approach those situations. A fearsome troll guarding a bridge might be met by facing the troll in combat, sneaking past it, or or even challenging it to a pie eating contest! These choices are made together by the players to overcome obstacles, resulting in an adventure that is of their own creation.
